How to Setup IP Phone SPA901 and SPA921

A few days ago i was setup pbxserver. For OS i user Centos wtih freepbx, i get this OS from freepbx . It was working and i used IPPhone SPA901 and SPA921. And this a few step to setup SPA921 and SPA901.

Assigning static IP address using the handset
Step 1:
Lift the handset and press **** (asterisk/star key) four times. You should hear “Configuration Menu”

Step 2:
Check if DHCP is enabled on the device by pressing 100.  If enabled press 101 and choose 0 to disable the DHCP option of the device.

Step 3:
Press 111 to set the static IP address for the device.  Enter the IP address using numbers on the telephone key pad.  Use the * (star) key when entering a decimal point.

Step 4:
Press 121 to set the subnet mask for the device.  You may check if there is a subnet mask assigned to the device by pressing 120.

Step 5:
Press 131 to set the static gateway address for the device.  You may check if there is a gateway address assigned on the device by pressing 130.

Step 6:
Press 161 to assign static DNS for the device.  You may check if there is a DNS server address assigned on the device by pressing 160.

Assigning Static IP address thru Web User Interface

Step 1:
Check your SPA901 IP Address. Quickly press **** (asterisk/star key) on the dial pad. After “configuration menu” dial 110#. Take note of the IP address.

Step 2:
Launch your browser and type in http://IP_Address_of_your_SPA901 on the address field then hit Enter. You’re now ready to configure the SPA901 for VoIP.

Step 3:
Click on Admin login then Advanced. Assign the static IP address under the System tab. Do not forget to click on Submit All Changes
